Timeline of the Competition

 Deadline to submit your entry: 1pm, 8th of April 2021

Selection of the 20 ideas that will be ofered a place on the Summer Programme communicated by the end of April

June – Middle of August 2021

The CitySpark Summer Programme will have weekly sessions with speakers, mentors or community catchups that will prepare your business for launch and growth!

End of August 2021

Announcing the 10 Finalists and presenting their video pitches for the Grand Final

Early October 2021

The CitySpark Grand Final event where the 10 finalists will be quizzed by a panel of judges before announcing the Winners!

Who is eligible to enter?

All City, University of London current students on full time or part time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are eligible to enter as a single entrant or as a team. 

The competition is also open to recent City graduates that have finished their studies not before Summer 2019. 

We accept entries from teams of no more than 4 people where at least one of the founders is a City student or recent graduate. 

If you have more than one idea, you are welcome to enter all of them as we will provide feedback and we will be able to help you decide which idea to focus on after the competition.
